From our perspective, creating a new sustainability paradigm is possible if we make it easy enough, affordable enough, and demonstrate it as attractive enough to spread on its own. One Community is making this new paradigm “easy enough and affordable enough” by developing open source and free-shared DIY-replicable sustainability components covering food, energy, housing, education, for-profit and non-profit economic design, social architecture, fulfilled living, global stewardship practices, and more. We will demonstrate it as “attractive enough to spread on its own” by building One Community as the first example of the more enjoyable, healthier, and enriching lifestyle that is possible when you combine all of these components.
